What does quarantine consist of?

Even though adds all suspicious files it detects to quarantine, you can also do this manually.

This way you can send such files to our experts to be analyzed. If they really are infected, we will provide a solution as soon as possible.

To add files to quarantine:

Click Quarantine in the main window of the program.
Click Add file,select the file you want and click Open.
A message will appear warning that the file will disappear from its original location. To add to the file to quarantine, you have to accept this message. Click Yes.

When detects a file that cannot be disinfected, it sends it to quarantine. The same occurs with suspicious files that could represent a threat to your PC. The function of quarantine is to isolate these types of files from your system until the solution is available.

Files are kept in a safe place with no contact with other files on your PC, ensuring the security of your system. Files in quarantine cannot be used. You would first have to restore them to their original location, after checking whether they are really infected.

Every time is updated, it re-scans files in quarantine to disinfect them if possible or return them to the original location if they are innocuous.
